za'tar sticks

Dough ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp olive oil
Warm water

Topping:
4 tbsp Za'tar (dried thyme)
6 tbsp olive oil
Place in a bowl.  Mix thyme and oil. Set aside

Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in the mixer.  Add water slowly to create a solid dough ball.
Heat oven to 400 degrees F
Roll the dough on a floured surface.  Cut dough into thin strips Place dough strips on a baking sheet.  Brush zaa'tar on dough sticks.  Bake for about 8 minutes, then turn the sticks over and brush with zaa'tar.  Return to the oven and bake until golden brown.

*Try dipping Zaa'tar sticks with hummus or with labneh (Greek yoghurt)YUM
