Who doesn't like dried thyme?
Today's recipe is simple with three basic ingredients to rub the whole chicken with.
Ingredients:
Whole chicken
Salt
Olive oil
Dried Thyme, za'tar
Vegetables: Carrots, zucchini, potatoes, squash, bell pepper
Black pepper
Preparation:
Mix 1/4 cup olive oil with a pinch of salt and 1/3 cup dried thyme (Za'tar). Rub the chicken and marinade for 2 hours.
In the meantime, cut vegetables (your choice) Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to your vegetables. Stuff chicken with vegetables.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F
*If you choose to stuff chicken with potatoes, half boil or half fry the potatoes first then stuff the chicken.
Place chicken in a tray. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Unwrap chicken during the last half hour to get a nice warm roasted color.
Serve with LOVE
