pear ashtaliyeh

My last but not least recipe for the month:

Ingredients:
4 cups whole milk
4 tbsp cornstarch
6 oz of cream (puck)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp mistka gum
1 tbsp orange blossom

3 cups fresh orange juice (no pulp)
3 pears cut into small pieces
2 tbsp cornstarch

Pomegranate, Pistachio, raisins for garnish

Preparation:
In a large saucepan stir the orange juice with cornstarch.  Place on stove on medium heat
When it starts to thicken, add the pear
Cook for 7 minutes
Pour mixture in a serving bowl
Chill in fridge

Prepare a saucepan.  Mix milk and cornstarch.  Place on stove on medium heat
Bring to a boil
Add mystique gum
Add cream
Add sugar
Cook for 7 minutes
Add orange blossom

Pour mixture on pear and orange mix
Chill in fridge
Garnish with raisins, pomegranate, and pistachio with a drizzle of syrup
