Good morning and good evening works for all around the world. This is our first suhoor (pre dawn meal) for the first day of fasting. I prepared it today in the evening and in advance to have for suhoor. It gives us energy and strength throughout the day during a long fasting day..
I have prepared one bowl for me, one for amore, one for my son, one for my sister, and I am sharing it with my two sons who live out of state, trying to make suhoor easy on them.
Ingredients:
1. Chopped dates
2. Oats
3. Milk
4. Fresh berries
5. Nuts / pine nuts, pistachio, walnuts
6. Rose water
7. Dash of cinnamon
8. Honey
In the morning, I can decide whether we have our suhoor cold or heated up.
