Lentil Lemon Soup

Hello soup lovers,
It's my favorite soup, amore's, my kiddo's, my mama's and all.  Simple, nutritious, lemony...DELICIOUS

Ingredients:

3/4 cup steamed black lentils or 1 can black lentils(drained)
1 chopped onion
2 minced garlic
1 potato peeled cut into cubes
1 chopped cilantro
3 squeezed lemons
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cumin
Drizzle of olive oil
1/2 cup vermicelli

Preparation:
Heat a pot with oil.  Add the chopped onion and the garlic.  Sautee for 7 minutes.  Add 7 cups water, lentils, potatoes, salt, pepper, and cumin.  Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes.  During the last 10 minutes of the cooking process, add vermicelli, lemon juice, and cilantro. YUM
