This meal is filled with warmth, goodness, and grace.
I have prepared it after my daughter's riding class followed by some pool fun. Simple, easy, delicious with a taste of finesse.
Ingredients:
12 frozen artichoke hearts (thawed)
1 pound top sirloin stew
2 minced garlic
2 lemon juice
Olive oil
Salt
1 tbs cumin
1 tbsp seven spices
A pinch of red pepper
3 chives
1 tsp cardamon
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Preparation:
Heat a skillet with olive oil( about 1/3 cup). Add the frozen artichoke to brown, for about 10 minutes on each side.
Prepare another skillet. Heat 1/4 cup olive oil. Add the sirloin. Add a pinch of salt, 1 tsp cardamon, 1 tsp cinnamon powder. Sautee for 3 minutes. Add 4 cups water, cover and cook for 25 minutes. Remove fat with a strainer once the water starts boiling. Add the broth to the artichoke. Cook the artichoke for about 25 minutes. Add garlic, lemon juice, salt, cumin, seven spices, red pepper. Add chives at the end of your cooking stage. Serve with white or brown rice.
