Fish lovers,
Every time I cook fish, I remember my son's high school friend throwing jokes about Lebanese people and how much they love to fish and eat fish :)
Ingredients:
2 Halibut fillet
10 chopped garlic
Salt
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1 tbsp cumin
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 bunch cilantro
2 lemon juice
1/2 cup tahini
Multigrain tortillas
Parsley/radish for garnish
Preparation:
Mix salt, chili flakes,and cumin in a bowl. Rub halibut with spice mix
Prepare a skillet with oil. Chop garlic into small pieces. Fry garlic *Do not burn garlic
Add halibut to skillet. Fry 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Add chopped cilantro to halibut
In a bowl, mix tahini paste with lemon juice. Add a pinch of salt and whisk. Add tahini sauce to halibut. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Prepare tortillas. Wrap halibut with tortillas. Garnish with parsley and radish and enjoy for Sunday brunch.
