It is the season of celebration, the season of mindfulness, the season of beauty surrounding us all.
Figs, one of my favorite fruits and gardenias one of my favorite flowers. Our salad tonight is unique and special with special souls close to my heart just like figs and gardenias.
Ingredients:
2 cups chopped baby spinach
3/4 cup feta cheese
6 figs cut into halves
1 top sirloin steak
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup roasted pine nuts
Dressing:
Salt
Olive oil
1 lemon juice
1 tbsp sumac
Preparation:
Cut steak into small pieces. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder
Heat a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil. Place steak in the centre of skillet. Cook for 3 minutes
In a small skillet and with a little olive oil, roast the pine nuts
Prepare a salad bowl. Add the spinach, cheese, figs, and sirloin. Add the dressing. Add the nuts with its best aroma
