Hello healthy people,week two with less carbs and NO dessert/sugar going great. Healthy meals, healthy breakfast, and healthy lifestyle rocks.
Here is my chicken falafel topped with taratour dressing (sesame paste)
Ingredients:
One cup green lentils soaked overnight
2 chicken breasts
One bunch cilantro
One bunch parsley
One small onion
5 garlic cloves
Salt
1 tsp red chili pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp baking soda
Vegetable oil for frying
Preparation:
In a food processor, blend lentils. Remove and set aside. Blend chicken with spices (salt,chili pepper, cumin, baking soda.)
Add chopped onion and garlic to chicken
Add chopped cilantro and parsley
Add lentils
Blend all ingredients to form a green dough
Heat oil
Use an ice cream scoop, your hand, or a falafel mold to fry falafel
As for the dressing, you can top your fried falafel with yoghurt or sesame paste dressing, or a dressing of your choice.
