A greeting then a happy good morning sharing a barley morning recipe with you all wishing for a positive, vibrant, beautiful year ahead. Ingredients:
3/4 cup barley
1 tbs maple syrup
1 tbsp rose water
2/3 cup rolled oats
whole milk
1 banana
1/2 cup blueberries
Walnuts, pistachios, pomegranate seeds, poppy seeds for garnish
Preparation:
Cook barley in 1 1/2 cups water. Place in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp maple syrup and rose water. Prepare two glass bowls. Cover the bottom of the glass bowl with 1/3 cup of rolled oats. Add 2/3 cup milk(about to cover the oats). Add 1/3 cup barley. Add half a banana and blueberries. Garnish with nuts, pomegranate seeds, and poppy seeds.
Cover. Place in the fridge for the morning. Heat and Eat
